"Get with Apprenticeships Event" at Kingston College Wednesday 8 February 4.30pm-7.30pm, Kingston College, Kingston Hall Road Centre, Kingston KT1 2AQ
 
As part of Kingston College´s celebrations to mark the fifth National Apprenticeship Week, Monday 6 to Friday 10 February we would like to invite you and your pupils to an exclusive Apprenticeship Event. More and more young people are considering apprenticeships as part of their Post 16 options as they provide the opportunity to learn through a combination of hands on work experience and off- site education. Pupils will be able to speak to tutors and employers directly about apprenticeships at this event, as well as meeting other learners who have followed this route.  Places can be booked through their website www.kingston-college.ac.uk or calling 020 8545 2151.

Accounting, Business Administration, Childcare, Customer Service, Engineering, Hairdressing, Health and Social Care, Hospitality, Information Technology ,

HAWK TRAINING
Representatives from local schools in Years 10-11 are invited to join Employers and Apprentices at the London Academy of Apprenticeships. Employers will explain what they are looking for when recruiting young people, Apprentices will share their personal experience with you and answer any questions you may have.
Hawk Training has a wide range of established apprenticeships:
Business Administration, Children and Young People's workforce, Customer Service, Hospitality and Catering, Information Technology, Retail, Team Leading and Management, Warehouse and Storage - Logistics Management.

INSPIRE TRAINING
Date: Monday 20th February 2012
Time: 08:30am - 08:55am, Main Hall
Assembly presentation to Twickenham Academy Upper College students about the apprenticeship opportunities for Twickenham Academy students who are interested in this route. Inspire training will deliver traning to Twickenham Academy students and will support them in finding a suitable job placement.
Some of the apprenticeships they will be offering are:
ICT, Business Adminstration, Maintenance and Premises Management, Health and Social Care, Customer Service, Sport Leadership, Creative - Performing Arts
 
Headmasters Thursday 23rd February, Lunchtime, Ms Hart's class:   Julie Pearce and her team conducting a presentation and workshop on Hairdressing Career and if you are lucky you may get a Hair makeover for free!
