Fundraising for Children in Need
On Friday 25th November the whole Academy got in fund raising mode with a huge celebration for Children in Need. The event led by the Ambassadors has raised over £700 so far and the money is still coming in!
Everyone was in mufti and fancy dress, a silent disco was held, teachers got sponged and Mr Gada and Mr Georgiou spent the day dressed as babies! A huge thank you to everyone who took part! A special mention must go to Harrison Taylor who rowed 10,000 miles in front of a packed canteen - cheered on by Mr Willcox. Harrison´s individual effort raised over £200 alone. The day ended with 'Twickenham's got Talent' hosted by Nathan, Luke and Tom — and what talent! We had singers, comedy sketches and dancers and Mr Lumley and Ms Gray also sang. Cameron Eversley was judged the winner by Head Girl Zowee, Deputy Head Boy Vish and our very own Cheryl and Tulisa's— Ms Boyle and Ms Gray. A great day was had by all and all for a great cause. Well done Ella Marshall and Elsie Ward for coordinating the event. |
