Year 9 football team crowned Borough Champions!
On Wednesday 16th November the Year 9 football team played their postponed final against Christ's at Hampton and Richmond Football Club. The boys were excited and dominated the first 15 minutes of the game. Christ's came back into the game before half time but it was all square at the break. After a tense second half with plenty of chances for both teams the game ended 0-0. Ten minutes of extra time still couldn't separate the teams so we went to penalties. Thanks to some cool penalties from both teams and a save from Ryan Layden it came down to Neggie Pashaj's penalty. The pressure was on as he knew we would win if he scored. He duly rolled the ball into the corner and the celebration began! I'm very proud of the boys and what they have accomplished.
